When you choose a WhatsApp text export in Chatfolio, the file is read in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers, Convex, analytics tools, or any third party.

Your recap exists only in the current browser session. Refresh, close the tab, or start another recap and the data is cleared from the page.

Share cards contain a member's aggregate activity and a playful title. They do not include message snippets or anyone else's raw messages by default.

The optional print-edition waitlist asks only for an email if you actively submit it. It never receives your export or recap data.
